Now, vaccination proof is no longer required, and mask-wearing is also optional at most Broadway theatres beginning July 1. Previously, proof of vaccination and mandatory mask-wearing at all Broadway theatres was required through April 30. ![]() In order for the safety of all parties in the theatre, protocols have been put in place to hopefully slow the spread of Covid-19 on Broadway and across New York. ![]() While Broadway theatres may be gearing up for reopening shows at full capacity in the coming weeks, going to the theatre won’t be back to normal just yet.
